Custom Drawing

Custom Drawing - Why get one from me?

I have a broad range of experience with art, and can offer dynamic and unique perspectives.

Can you design tattoos?

Yes. I've observed the tattoo process personally on several occasions, and have some experience drawing tattoo flash. I've held long and detailed conversations with tattoo artists, and know a great deal about what the differences between tattoo art, and other arts.

How much do you charge?

The table below shows the prices for different levels of detail and color.

The option column is the ID for each option. You'll use this number and or letter combination to refer to which option you'd like to purchase.

The price is how much you pay for what you see to the right of the price on the table.

The time is how much time I will spend on the custom drawing - not how long it will take for me to get back to you. (Laugh now.)

The color option is always just an option. If in this column it says yes, then at least one of the pieces you're receiving may be in color.

The pieces column is the number of "completed" works you are receiving. This includes any and all versions of the piece, including sketches.

And lastly, the description is a little more information that ought to be self explanatory.

Terminology:

Rough Sketch: The image will contain lines that in a finished piece would be erased, and will lack detail.

Concept Design: The image will contain what is needed to get the idea across, but may or may not be detailed.

Design: Implies that the image is a design for something else, but is not a professional work in it's own right.

Detailed: Image contains many small facets, which could include things like ear-rings, wrinkles, seeds, finger nails, or coins. (Small things folks.)

Developed: Image shows forethought, fair amount of detail, and is well-balanced.

Polished: Image contains few to no marks that appear "sketchy" or don't belong. Details are shown in sharp relief. Polished can easily translate into hard lined.

Hard Lined: Outlines are crisp, defined, and clear. This is required for a tattoo artist to follow an image perfectly.

Fine: Some of my better work, and portfolio-worthy.

Artwork: Implies nothing.

Full Illustration Example Spread: This would be what you'd purchase if you wanted me to do a book cover or a board game cover. I would embody the concepts you wanted in several initial sketches, and bring two or three of these sketches to a more detailed level, and one or two of them to the finely detailed level to be used for your book, board game, CD-cover or other media.
